“My name is Parissima Taheri and I’m a psychologist living in Vienna, Austria and run a platform for minority mental health here called Wir sind auch Wien (translated: We are Vienna too). As a person of colour in a mainly white city, in a very white field, I often rely on international training possibilities. I started following PsycYourMind after hearing about it on the Therapy for Black Girls podcast and I reached out with the hope that some of the amazing training events and workshops I keep reading about become available online, so when that happened I obviously jumped on the opportunity. I’m so thankful for PsycYourMind’s work and investment in improving and adding to minority mental health and I’m glad I got a chance to access the wisdom and experience.”

“As a black African clinical psychologist working in private practice in Australia, with a large number of clients being people of colour, finding culturally appropriate and sensitive education has been a challenge. That is why I reached out to Crystal to explore the options that she provides on, after I heard her on the Therapy For Black Girls podcast and read her book – Likeness, Lucy, and Lemonade. I’m excited to take part in her online education, so that I can reap the benefits from Australia.”
